In May, we celebrated with the official opening of the Birkin Golf Studio.

The studio was built on land adjacent to Level Broadleaze cricket field thanks to the generosity of members of the Old Marlburian Golfing Society. Current parent and Council member Michael Birkin (B3 1971-76) played a leading role in backing the project. It is a wonderful addition to our sporting facilities and includes a Trackman simulator where our aspiring golfers can receive year-round coaching and work on improving their games.

The College’s golf professional, Ben Amor, delivered a coaching masterclass at the opening, where guests could try the simulator and have the chance to beat him in a nearest the pin challenge!

With this addition, we look forward to continuing to develop our keen golfers at Marlborough.
