Campaign partners
We are proud to work with a number of organisations who help us to recruit, fund and care for the bursary recipients supported by the Marlborough Difference Campaign.
The Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation (RNCSF)
RNCSF is the UK’s largest social mobility and bursary charity. They have set up links with local charities and Local Authorities in deprived areas across the UK to ensure that schools like Marlborough can target their transformational bursary schemes at the young people who need it most. RNCSF identity, prepare and support pupils to ensure that they will thrive, and their 97% retention rate is testament this. Marlborough is an accredited SpringBoard school and has now had over 20 bursary pupils attend the College via this scheme, many of whom have gone on to be role models in their own communities.
Ali Henderson, RNCSF’s Chief Execuitve said “we are proud to partner with Marlborough College and offer transformational opportunities to fully funded bursary places. I hope that, through this Campaign, we will be able to work together to help shift the life chances of many more young people in the years ahead”.

Marlburian Club Charitable Funds (MCCF)
MCCF is a separate charity, whose funds were donated historically by Old Marlburians. The charity is administered by trustees linked to the Marlburian Club. The charity supports a number of prizes and grants to Old Marlburians and staff of Marlborough College. However the majority of the funding granted is for bursaries, particularly for OM families who cannot afford the fees to send their children to Marlborough. MCCF funds a number of bursaries every year.
Steven Bishop (PR 1969-73), the Chair of MCCF and a trustee of the Marlborough College Foundation, said “the MCCF plays an important role in supporting both the College and Old Marlburians. We are delighted to be a partner in this Campaign by supporting bursary pupils at the College and I hope, together, we are able to help many more future Marlburians”.
