Over 50 OMs, current, former and prospective parents gathered at the Shangri-La to welcome the Master, Louise Moelwyn-Hughes, to Singapore for her first visit in four years.

The Master was introduced by Mark Shaw (CO 1982-87), one of a generation of Shaws who attended Marlborough and hopefully not the last! Louise gave an update on life at Marlborough and outlined her vision for the future of the College. The Master also mentioned the success of Marlborough College Malaysia and welcomed members of their team to the reception. She also thanked those who had supported the Marlborough Difference Campaign, and explained why she thought widening access by providing more life transforming bursaries to talented and motivated young people was so important.

Mark spoke again after Louise, explaining why he had chosen to support the Campaign. Mark, and other members of the Shaw family, were thanked for sponsoring such a wonderful evening in such beautiful surroundings.
