Fran’s connection with the College spans back to her childhood when her family frequently drove through Marlborough. Whilst her parents and grandparents didn’t have the opportunity to continue their education after secondary school, her mother had shared her love of reading and literature with Fran. She always dreamed for Fran to attend Marlborough and pursue her love of learning and when she passed away, it became Fran’s dream too.
Fran’s bursary gave her the chance to challenge herself and pursue her ambitions which meant when the opportunity arose to work for the Marlborough Difference Campaign as a Campaign Caller, she was thrilled to get involved.
