Welcoming the Head of Bursary Pupil Recruitment

Thursday 5th December 2024

Marlborough welcomed the Head of Bursary Pupil Recruitment, Harriet Perry-Evans, to the College in September in an effort to grow the number of bursary pupils. The position was kindly funded by a donor to the Marlborough Difference Campaign, alongside the Head of Bursary Welfare, who joined the College earlier this year.

As part of Marlborough’s commitment to increasing the number of free places, the College recognises the need to attract children suited to a Marlborough education from a range of different schools and backgrounds. The role sits within the Admissions Department, and Harriet will spend a proportion of her time visiting schools and families.

Thanks to the donors supporting the campaign, the number of pupils on full bursaries is growing quickly. At the start of Michaelmas Term 2024, the College proudly had 47 pupils on free places for the academic year.

We look forward to providing additional support to help grow the number of bursary places at Marlborough and allow the Marlborough Difference Campaign to continue to flourish.
